Getting Started with Kanban Board Pro
Installation
- Go to the Freshdesk Marketplace
- Click Install and follow the prompts.
- Enter your Freshdesk domain (e.g.,
yourcompany.freshdesk.com) - Enter your Freshdesk API Key.
- Click Verify then Install.
Your First Board
Once installed, open any Freshdesk page and navigate to the Kanban Board Pro app in the sidebar.
Your first board will be created automatically based on ticket status. From there you can:
- Add columns — click the + button to add a new column
- Rename columns — click a column header to edit
- Set the axis — change what dimension organizes your board (status, agent, priority, etc.)
- Add filters — filter tickets by agent, group, priority, and more
Creating a Shared Board
- Click New Board in the board switcher
- Give it a name and set the axis
- Toggle Shared to make it visible to all agents in your account
- Click Save
