Managing Boards in Kanban Board Pro

Default Boards

When you open Kanban Board Pro for the first time, 5 boards are created automatically — you’ll never land on an empty state. Each board is independently configured with its own columns, filters, and sort settings.

Creating a New Board

Click the board switcher at the top of the app, then select New Board. Give it a name and configure it as you like.

You can create up to 10 boards per account. Once the limit is reached, the create, duplicate, and clone actions are blocked with a clear message.

Renaming a Board

Open the board’s options menu (⋯) and select Rename. The new name updates everywhere immediately — in the header and the board list.

Deleting a Board

Open the board’s options menu and select Delete. A confirmation prompt prevents accidental deletion.

Starring a Board

Star a board to pin it to the top of the board list. Open the board’s options menu and select Star. Select it again to unstar.

Switching Between Boards

Use the board switcher at the top of the app to jump between boards. Each board loads its own columns and tickets — no data from the previous board carries over.

Sharing a Board

  1. Open the board’s options menu and select Share.
  2. Toggle sharing on and save.

Shared boards appear in the board list for all agents in your Freshdesk account. Other agents can view the board and its configuration, but cannot modify it.

Unsharing a Board

Open the board’s options menu and turn sharing off. The board disappears from other agents’ lists immediately. You retain full access.
