Opening the Shortcuts Reference

Press ? or click the keyboard icon (⌨) in the modal header to open the interactive shortcuts reference. Press Escape or click outside to close it.

All Shortcuts

`J`	Scroll conversation timeline down
`K`	Scroll conversation timeline up
`G G`	Jump to the oldest message (press G twice within 500 ms)
`Shift+G`	Jump to the newest message

Conversation

`R`	Refresh conversations
`T`	Toggle light / dark theme
`Escape`	Close modal (shows “Discard & close” confirmation if compose box has content)

Compose Box

`C`	Focus the compose editor
`N`	Toggle Reply / Private Note mode
`A`	Open audio recorder
`V`	Open video recorder
`Cmd/Ctrl+Enter`	Send the message

Rich-Text Formatting (while text is selected in the compose box)

When Shortcuts Are Disabled

Single-key shortcuts (J, K, R, T, C, N, A, V) are disabled while the cursor is inside any text field — the compose editor, the CC field, or any other input. Typing those keys inserts characters instead.

Chord shortcuts (Cmd/Ctrl+key) remain active even while a text field is focused.
