Viewing Attachments

Supported File Types

All attachments from every reply are surfaced inline in the conversation timeline. The following types render with a full in-app preview:

Other file types (ZIP, Office documents, plain text, etc.) appear as download tiles — no preview.


Custom Audio Player

Audio attachments render with a branded player — no native browser audio controls.

  • Play / Pause — click the play button to start; click again to pause. Playback resumes from the paused position.
  • Waveform progress bar — shows how far through the clip you are. Click anywhere on the bar to seek.
  • Speed control — click the speed pill (shows by default) to switch between speeds. Changes apply immediately without restarting the track.
  • Download — click the download icon to save the file to your computer.

Custom Video Player

Video attachments render with a branded player.

  • Play / Pause — click the play button or click anywhere on the video.
  • Scrubber bar — drag to seek to any point in the video.
  • Speed control — available from the player controls.
  • Download — saves the video file locally.

Images — Lightbox

Click any image thumbnail to open it full-screen in the lightbox. Use arrow keys to navigate between images in the same conversation. Press Escape or click the close button to return to the timeline.


PDFs — Full-Screen Viewer

Click a PDF tile to open it in the full-screen viewer. The document renders inline using your browser’s native PDF renderer — no download required, no new tab. Press Escape or click the × button to close and return to the conversation.


Downloading Attachments

Every previewer has a download button. Click it to save the file with its original filename. The icon has a tooltip if you need a reminder.


Closing the Previewer

Press Escape to close any previewer (image lightbox, PDF viewer, audio/video player) and return to the conversation timeline.
